The primary use of the conveyor is the transport and segregation of castings after the casting process. Through the use of high-quality materials, the temperature of the castings does not affect the durability.
In cooperation with the SUPERBELT transporter, Magaldi offers a special system for cooling MCC castings.
Through the modern ECOBELT system, it is possible to transport hot sand or other consumables. An additional advantage is that materials can be transported at an angle of up to 450 degrees.
As a mobile work table, the SUPERBELT PR conveyor is ideal for removing and sorting gating systems and castings. The flat surface ensures that the operator can easily search through the different types of castings mixed in the chute.
A single conveyor can also be used to transport castings to the blasters or to move castings during shotblasting.
Knocked-out casting moulds need to be transported to the shaker. The conveying equipment encounters hard and hot material that causes rapid wear and tear on the parts, but under these conditions the ConvTec conveyor is reliable.
The conveyors can operate on an incline with a gradient of up to 350 degrees and can be loaded with a load of up to 30 tonnes. This enables the convoy to be used for loading gating system crushers as well as casting furnaces. An additional advantage is that the conveyor speed can be adjusted as required, which eliminates excessive load accumulation at the inlet of the crusher or furnace and allows maximum utilisation of the machine’s processing capacity.
